Claudius Sesay

Mr. Claudius Sesay is the Resident Technical Facilitator formally assigned to both Kono District Council and Koidu New Sembehun City Council in 2023, but later reassigned to Koidu New Sembehun City Council in October, 2024.  His primary role is to provide technical backstopping to the council on policy implementation, track key deliverables of council and support council to effectively align its programmes to the national strategic vision.   

He is a Development Researcher and Public Policy expert of 10 years’ experience working in Institutional Capacity Development, Research, Public Policy Formulation and Implementation, and Programme/Project Development and Management and has worked across four (4) local councils. He holds several academic qualifications such as a certificate in the Implementation of United Nation’s Security Council Resolution 1325 (2000) in Africa; Diploma and Bachelor of Art Degree in Library Archive and Information Studies from Fourah Bay College and a Master of Research and Public Policy from the University of Sierra Leone. He remains committed to supporting the Koidu New Sembehun City in its quest to provide effective services to the people of the municipality
